What breed of cat should I get?
I am looking to get a kitten. I’ve narrowed it two three races, Sphinx, Devon Rex, and Bengal. I want a cat affectionate, and is friendly. My family is all about adoption, I know it’s hard to find and Sphynxs Rexs Devon, what should I do? I have educated on the 3, but can not make a decision, or find a rescue. Please help. thanks, and I have two dogs, but thanks. Ill check my local shelter, but rather a sphinx, Rex, or Bengal.
You will not find any breed kittens in shelters. They only come from the union of pedigree cat breeds and breeders sell them for $ 600 and up. And in the case of the Sphinx – more like $ 1.000 and more. Same with Devons. There are quite a few breeders if you search locally. Your choice may be confusing since these three are very different. What kind of “research” have youn done? Have you just seen pictures, read articles on the Internet or have you actually gone to shows and met with the cats, their owners and breeders?
This can be quite an expense so unless you are sure that you have the financial means and the time to devote to caring for a pedigree perhaps you should consider another cat who would cherish a loving home.
